Tuesday October 15, 2019
6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Tuesday evening dinner and activities for singles, couples, kids, youth, parents, friends, relatives and neighbours.
The Big Table starts at Fairlawn this Fall. We have scheduled four gatherings on the topic of the climate crisis:
We will dive into hands-on learning, discussion and activities related to the sense of urgency in relation to the climate crisis that children and young people such as Greta Thunberg and Canadian Indigenous activist, Autumn Peltier, are bringing to the forefront these days.
We will have resource people, videos, games, age-appropriate activities, take-home resources, and creative play stations all focused on how we can live in ways that empower us to discover concrete ways to meet the climate challenges that we are all now facing together.
And it all starts with dropping in to share dinner together. We will provide a delicious vegetable soup and bread.
Please REGISTER BELOW where you can tell us who is coming, and warn us of any food allergies.
This is for “family” in every shape and size, from multi-generational to singles, neighbours, cousins, and friends, all together as the Fairlawn family.
Together we can have fun, share food, and help make a difference!
We are working to connect with people about things that matter in all of our lives:
