How did we arrive at the Six Degrees name? You’ve heard the phrase six degrees of separation. Ultimately, any two strangers can find their common place of connecting with each other: All people are six, or fewer, social connections away from each other. At Fairlawn, we are also connected by meeting, respecting and helping each other. “We are connected to God and each other by Love.” Six Degrees is just another step in bringing us closer together, and helping us live out our mission.
This is a chance to become more connected with your community, experience faith in action and meet those who are just as passionate.
We’ll volunteer for the Community Meals at St. Felix Centre, which often serves 100 people a night, and then gather at The Rivoli, for dinner and a chat. The group is open to all, young and young-at-heart.
Every second Tuesday starting September 10, 2019.
Our next dates are:
All you need are closed-toe shoes and an open heart.
