It is a place to keep learning\, try something creative\, stay curious\, stay physically fit and meet your neighbours. Programs are open to everyone in the community. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Tuesday\, November 10\, 2026 2:00pm – 3:30pm Fairlawn Connects Discussion Series: Why Canada? \n \n \n \n Join us for an afternoon of thoughtful conversation as Greig Clark leads an open discussion exploring the question\, “Why Canada?” At a time when Canada’s identity\, independence and future are part of the national conversation\, we’ll explore the history\, geography and institutions that have shaped our country\, and share our own thoughts and perspectives on what it means to be Canadian. This is a welcoming space for open\, honest and respectful dialogue. You don’t need to be an expert or have all the answers. Come with your questions\, your experiences and a willingness to listen and learn from one another. Everyone in the community is welcome! Bring a friend\, neighbour or family member and join the conversation. Fairlawn Connects is a secular community program for adults 55+. Our programs are open to everyone in the community\, regardless of faith or background\, and offer opportunities to learn\, exchange ideas\, meet new people and build meaningful connections. Have a topic or question you’d like to see explored in a future discussion? We’d love to hear your ideas!
