DESCRIPTION:COMET: A Drop-in Program for 2SLGBTQIA+ Youth \nCOMET (Come Out & Meet Each Tuesday) is a free after-school drop-in program for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth ages 13-18 in North Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. Questioning youth and allied friends are also welcome. \nCOMET program activities include arts and crafts\, games\, cooking\, creative workshops\, and more. Dinner and snacks are provided at no cost. \nWhen? Tuesdays from 3:30pm to 8:30pm. \nWhere? 28 Fairlawn Ave.\, Toronto\, ON \nWest off Yonge St.\, a 7-minute walk north from Lawrence TTC Station. Participants are invited to use the west accessible main lobby entrance to access the Assembly Hall downstairs. \nWhy? SUMMARY:Fairlawn Senior Choir Practice
DESCRIPTION:The Senior Choir of Fairlawn Avenue United Church is an auditioned group of approximately 35 members\, including an 8-member professional core. \nThe Seniors sing every Sunday from September through June at the 10:30 am worship service\, and are responsible for an introit\, two anthems and all other service music. In order to cover that amount and level of music\, often with a minimum of rehearsal time\, choristers must have singing experience and excellent music/sight-reading skills. \nPractice is weekly on Thursday evenings\, September through May.
