He will takes us on a virtual tour that explores present-day parts of the ‘hood’ and what was there in earlier times. Together\, we will “flash back” to when the neighbourhood had a toll gate\, Loblaws was on the west side of Yonge\, Melrose boasted an impressive pillared entranceway\, there was a bridge alongside Blessed Sacrament School\, and Fairlawn held services in a barroom. \nWednesday\, April 29 2:00pm – 4:00pm \nOur guest speaker\, Ebrahim Alia\, Program Coordinator Rainbow Seniors at Lansing United\, is a technology specialist. He has a background in digital media\, technology training\, and delivers workshops and presentations on technology\, social media\, and digital tools\, helping people understand technology in a simple and practical way. Join us and learn how Al works and how to turn your ideas into pictures. No technical skills are needed.
