Watermain Replacement and Road Resurfacing
Community Notice UPDATE
The City of Toronto continue the work on Fairlawn Avenue between Yonge Street and Avenue Road. The project continues and seems to be nearing completion. At the end of April 2025, digging work was completed and paving began. We received a construction update that the timeline for completion of the project remains the end of May 2025 however, weather and other unforeseeable isues may extend the work.
Until the street is fully paved and the work completed, it will continue to reduce street parking. Specifically, parking may be impeded on Fairlawn Avenue in front of the church during the stages different of construction. Plan accordingly and at all times, adhere to the parking regulations posted.

Fairlawn Neighbourly Parking
The Fairlawn church parking lot is not available as all 6 spots are signed and reserved at all times. Vehicles may be towed at the owner’s expense.
Fairlawn Avenue United Church urges users of its building to be respectful of our neighbours including adherence to the local parking laws. The Church does not have any available parking space on its property for our community of faith, guests and visitors. Please adhere to the guidelines below to minimize the chances of ticketing.
The information noted below is, to our understanding, up-to-date however there may be updates to City of Toronto parking by-laws, so please ensure you follow the information noted on signage. Fairlawn will not reimburse for tickets received.
