We are not alone. We are connected by love.
Rev. Douglas duCharme
Transition Minister

Rev. Douglas duCharme works with United Church congregations as an Interim or Transition Minister. He worked in the Middle East with the World Council of Churches for 7 years, and as executive staff with the Canadian Council of Churches for 5 years. Douglas and his wife, Elaine Perkins, have two adult daughters living in Toronto and Ottawa (where Douglas and Elaine both have roots), and a year-old granddaughter. His experience of working with a very diverse range of congregations in the Toronto area, means that he brings a real breadth and depth of openness to Fairlawn Avenue United Church.
