Camp Scugog Clean Up Day ~ Saturday, May 4 10:00am – 4:00pm
Do you like to putter around the garden or organize a cupboard? Camp Scugog needs you as part of the Camp Clean-Up Crew. There are jobs to match all activity/experience levels, and lunch will be provided. Sign-up and get information about how to arrange a ride to and from the camp.
Camp Scugog Craft Shack and Bake Sale ~ Sunday, May 5 11:30am
You can help send kids and moms to Camp Scugog this summer by supporting Fairlawn’s annual Scugog Craft Shack and Bake Sale during Coffee Hour on Sunday May. Craft Shack items created with Mother’s Day in mind include printed greeting cards from original photos and watercolour paintings, handmade bath soaps, tasty baked goods, tote bags and other handicrafts.

Camp Scugog
In the summer of 2021, Camp Scugog was only open to the L.I.T. youth, and they made the most of their short time together, reconnecting and reviving their spirits. Watch this short, uplifting video — It will put a HUGE smile on your face!
Fairlawn members have been supporting Camp Scugog for many years with generous donations to send kids to camp, assistance on Cleanup Day in the spring, serving on the Camp Scugog Board, writing letters to kids at camp in the summer, and helping to maintain spirits of children, teens and moms during the COVID-19 Pandemic when the camp was closed.
Fairlawn’s most recent “Craft Shack” fundraising campaign was very successful. It provides members of the Fairlawn community with delicious baked goods, crafts and events to share with loved ones on special occasions.
Your generous support has sent many children and their moms to camp over the years with the most heartwarming thanks from the campers. Watch the video and read the letter below to understand the enormous impact your support has meant to these people.
