    Wednesday afternoons 1:00pm – 3:30pm January 15 - 22 - 29 Registration required Featuring chapters 4-7  from the book: "Starlight ~ Beholding the Christmas Miracle All Year Long" by John Shea. Christmas is a time of convergence when light and darkness, the divine and the human intersect in vivid ways. Shea helps us appreciate the feast of Christmas as a moment when "the spiritual suffuses the physical and turns it into a medium of revelation." Ordinary objects such as trees, stars, mangers, gifts, and communal meals become occasions which nourish our souls. The book is no longer in print so participants will receive the material (hard copy or online).     Pastoral Visitation Team Meeting Our pastoral visitation ministry provides support and compassion for those who may occasionally experience difficulty in their lives and supports our senior members when they can no longer regularly attend church. We send cards and flowers and keep them connected to Fairlawn through phone calls and personal visits.     Tell Me More: A session for adults supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ youth We invite you to join us on Tuesday, February 25 at 7:00pm at this introductory information session for parents, caregivers, educators, and other adults who care for and about queer and questioning youth. The session covers key 2SLGBTQIA+ language and concepts, inclusive parenting, and how to prepare for and/or handle the coming out conversation. Our goal is to help attendees support the queer youth in their lives by providing basic, accurate information and creating a safe space for questions and conversation.
