Planning a Fairlawn Meeting, Program or Event

Let’s Work Together to Make It a Success!

Fairlawn is home to a wonderful variety of ministries, programs, meetings and community activities. To help every gathering run smoothly, we have a shared planning and booking process that brings together the people, spaces and resources needed for a successful event.

The first step is to complete and submit the Meeting & Program Checklist below.

This checklist provides our Church Administrator with the initial information needed to review your request, check availability and begin coordinating the arrangements.

Once your checklist has been submitted, Church Administrator Joanne Christie will contact the organizer(s) to continue the planning process together.

Scheduling for Fall/Winter 2026–2027

We are currently accepting booking requests for Fairlawn meetings, programs and events during the following hours:

Sunday: 2:00pm – 7:30pm
Monday–Thursday: 9:00am – 7:30pm
Friday: 9:00am – 4:00pm

All requests are subject to availability, operational requirements and any necessary approvals. Additional arrangements may be required for certain dates or activities.

How to Get Started

Please review your plans with your Purpose Council lead(s), then complete and submit the online checklist below.

Once submitted, Joanne will follow up with the organizer(s) to review the request, discuss next steps and help coordinate the details.

Please note: Submitting the checklist begins the booking process but does not constitute a confirmed reservation. Bookings are confirmed through the Church Office following review and approval.

Land Acknowledgement. Fairlawn acknowledges the sacred land on which our church stands. It has been a site of human activity for 15,000 years. This land is the territory of the Huron, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the New Credit River. The territory was the subject of the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement between the Iroquois Confederacy and Confederacy of the Ojibwe and allied nations to peaceably share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. Today, the meeting place of Toronto is still home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island, and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work in the community, on this territory. We are also mindful of broken covenants and the need to strive to make right with all our relations. The original nations continue to cry out for justice. As treaty people, we commit to listen, learn, and work toward justice and reconciliation.
