On-site discussion series for seniors, designed to bring people together in person for meaningful conversation, laughter, and learning. These gatherings will continue the spirit of the Tuesday Lunch Crowd—welcoming, inclusive, and engaging—while creating new opportunities to connect face-to-face.

Topics will be interesting, accessible, and fun, shaped around shared experiences, curiosity, and community. Whether you’re a longtime participant or new to the group, you’ll be warmly welcomed.

Topics and Guest Speakers to be confirmed.

Gary Schlee, for more than a decade, shared local history stories in Fairlawn’s Community Life newspaper. He will takes us on a virtual tour that explores present-day parts of the ‘hood’ and what was there in earlier times. Together, we will “flash back” to when the neighbourhood had a toll gate, Loblaws was on the west side of Yonge, Melrose boasted an impressive pillared entranceway, there was a bridge alongside Blessed Sacrament School, and Fairlawn held services in a barroom.

Wednesday, April 29 2:00pm – 4:00pm
