    Pastoral Visitation Team Meeting

    Our pastoral visitation ministry provides support and compassion for those who may occasionally experience difficulty in their lives and supports our senior members when they can no longer regularly attend church. We send cards and flowers and keep them connected to Fairlawn through phone calls and personal visits.     Celebrate Visibility in All Its Forms Fairlawn Avenue United Church is allying with International Day of Pink for the second year to bring the 2024 Visibility Anniversaries Tour to Fairlawn on Saturday, April 13 at 2:00pm. This event celebrates visibility in all its forms — being seen, welcomed, acknowledged, accepted, respected, and listened to. It recognizes the 25th anniversary of the Trans Flag and the 50th anniversary of the Brunswick Four, a key event in the queer women’s movement.     Summer worship service at Fairlawn Avenue United Church will take place Sunday mornings at 10:30am in our Assembly Hall with Rev. Dr. Cameron Watts, Eleanor Daley, Director of Music and a soloist from the Fairlawn Avenue Senior Choir. Here’s the list of soloists for summer services: June 30: Willis Bote July 7: Alison Roy July 14: Andrea Ludwig July 21: Giles Tomkins July 28: Mark Wood-Salomon We will not have coffee and tea, but cold beverages will be available before, during and after service, so bring your own cup! Please note - there will be no service August 4, 11, 18, 25 and September 1.  We return to worship service in the Sanctuary at 10:30am Sunday, September 8, 2024.
