The Senior Choir of Fairlawn Avenue United Church is an auditioned group of approximately 35 members, including an 8-member professional core. The Senior Choir sing every Sunday from September through June at the 10:30 am worship service, and are responsible for an introit, two anthems and all other service music. In order to cover that amount and level of music, often with a minimum of rehearsal time, choristers must have singing experience and excellent music/sight-reading skills. Practice is weekly on Thursday evenings, September 10, 2026 through May 27, 2027.

Join us for a joyful Covenanting Service with guest David Hallman presiding, as we celebrate the beginning of a new chapter in ministry together. This special service brings the Rev. Jean Ward and Rev. Nigel Weaver, congregation, and wider community of faith together to affirm their shared commitment to faith, ministry, and one another. Through prayer, music, reflection, and the exchange of promises, we celebrate the gifts and hopes that each brings to this journey. It is a time to give thanks, offer our blessings and support, and look forward with hope to the ministry ahead.
