    Afternoon Tea Honouring Fairlawn’s Seniors June is Seniors month. You're invited to join us for Afternoon Tea on Wednesday June 3 from 2:00pm to 3:30pm. We'll gather in the sanctuary and enjoy the company of Fairlawn's faith community. There will be a brief service with communion and hymns followed by light refreshments and memorable conversations. This invitation is open to all Fairlawn seniors and volunteers.     We invite you to join us Sunday mornings at 10:30am for a meaningful time of worship and community. The services are delivered by Rev. Jean Ward; Rev. Nigel Weaver; Eleanor Daley, Director of Music; and the Fairlawn Senior Choir. After the service, please stay and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee at our Coffee Hour, supported by volunteers from our community of faith, for a welcoming time to connect with friends, greet visitors, and share in meaningful conversation.     PLEASE NOTE: Due to the weather forecast and out of concern for everyone’s comfort and safety, the BBQ will be held in the Assembly Hall. There has been a significant increase in wasp activity on the front lawn, and with food being served, we want to avoid creating an additional nuisance and, most importantly, help ensure no one gets stung.   Join us for a BBQ with hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, drinks & desserts (gluten-free and vegetarian options available) after worship service to reconnect after the summer break. On the first Monday morning of each month (September – June), the Men’s Group meet for a time of friendship and discussion.
