Worship service at Fairlawn Avenue United Church are on Sunday mornings in our Sanctuary with Rev. Dr. Cameron Watts, Eleanor Daley, Director of Music and the Fairlawn Avenue Senior Choir. Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, in our post-service Coffee Hour in the sanctuary. Coffee Hour provides an important opportunity for people to connect with one another, Experience Belonging, welcome visitors and guests, and feel part of Fairlawn. Special Music

You’re Invited to Special Music at Fairlawn Avenue United Church. Sunday, March 1, 2026 at 10:30am, the Senior Choir of Fairlawn Avenue with Eleanor Daley, Director of Music present Requiem by John Rutter with Chamber Orchestra. John Rutter’s Requiem is a tender and luminous choral work that speaks gently of loss, hope, and peace. Blending ancient Latin texts with English psalms, its flowing melodies and warm harmonies offer comfort and quiet beauty. Rather than mourning alone, this Requiem invites listeners into a space of rest, remembrance, and healing.

Fairlawn Senior Choir Practice

JANUARY 15, 2026 ->  Due to the winter storm and to ensure the safety of all, Choir has been cancelled this evening. The Senior Choir of Fairlawn Avenue United Church is an auditioned group of approximately 35 members, including an 8-member professional core. The Seniors sing every Sunday from September through June at the 10:30 am worship service, and are responsible for an introit, two anthems and all other service music. In order to cover that amount and level of music, often with a minimum of rehearsal time, choristers must have singing experience and excellent music/sight-reading skills. Practice is weekly on Thursday evenings.
