The Senior Choir of Fairlawn Avenue United Church is an auditioned group of approximately 35 members, including an 8-member professional core. The Senior Choir sing every Sunday from September through June at the 10:30 am worship service, and are responsible for an introit, two anthems and all other service music. In order to cover that amount and level of music, often with a minimum of rehearsal time, choristers must have singing experience and excellent music/sight-reading skills. Practice is weekly on Thursday evenings, September 10, 2026 through May 27, 2027.
Helping Hands Following the worship service on the third Sunday of each month (October 2026 through June 2027), you are invited to come down to the Assembly Hall kitchen to help make sandwiches for the Community Food Program at Saint Luke’s. * Please note: Due to the after service Congregational Meeting on Sunday, November 15, 2026 we will gather at 9:00am before service on this date. If you’re able to volunteer or donate bread or sandwich fillings (e.g., egg salad, tuna salad, cheese, peanut butter, jam, etc.), please contact Sandy Giles Byrne or John Ryerson at ac.de1791403185tinue1791403185uneva1791403185nwalr1791403185iaf@a1791403185e1791403185
